Designed with the hobbyist in mind, the ReefMat features an easy fleece-mat replacement system that allows you to switch rolls without having to remove the filter from the sump or turn off the pumps.

Mounting and installation
The ReefMat is designed to hang on the front wall of the sump for ease of operation
It also has optional legs for a freestanding installation
Both the Drive-unit and inlet hose can be positioned on either side of the ReefMat, as best suits your specific installation
The ReefMat includes a kink-resistant, corrugated (32mm/1.25” ID) inlet hose with a PVC universal connector (suitable for both metric and USA piping)

Continuously monitor performance with a detailed daily & hourly fleece-mat dispensing record for the current roll.
The length of fleece-mat dispensed can be customized, allowing for optimal system performance.

ReefMat includes a fail-proof solid-state level sensor, as well as a smart drive unit that connects it to the ReefBeat ecosystem, which controls and monitors the exact length of the used mat, lets you know your average Mat usage, provides you with a daily log, and gives you a head’s up a few days before the mat needs replacing.

Sump Modification Kit
Manufactured specifically to help you ready your sump for a ReefMat, the kit Includes highly flexible, ultra-thin blades for cutting through the silicone joins, and a small scraper to tidy up any leftover silicone.
All parts are suitable for using inside saltwater.
Please do not use this kit without protective gloves and eye protectors.

and that flexi knife makes light work of the silicone and whilst I was being cautious as the tank is running and full of water from start to finish I would say from unboxing to switching it on was 45 mins tops!

Hardest part was getting it into the sump of my 900 3XL, it’s massive !. App setup is easy peasy.
Total install time 30 mins. Tank is so much quieter now, let’s see the clarity in the morning. 10/10.
Did I mention how easy the roll change is? My previous Clarisea was a complete pain in the rear .
